The Man Behind Eddie Munster, Butch Patrick Drops By The Fox Studio [VIDEO]

Andre Peters and I had the chance to talk with a legend of classic television! Butch Patrick played Eddie Munster on the TV sitcom “The Munsters”.

Butch is visiting Flint for the annual Back to the Bricks Classic Car Show, and what a great guy!  He spent more than an hour hanging out with us here at The Fox studios, with a quick teaser during The Punch-Out Party before spending the entire hour on the air with Andre Peters for The Fox Lounge.

In addition the gang from Back to the Bricks, including Al Hatch who met Butch at a prior car show, we had a sweet treat from a friend of the station. Jen from Cops & Robbers Ice Cream and Gifts brought in an Eddie Munster ice cream cake… and it was ridiculously good!

We learned a lot hanging with this TV legend. He was so cool, laid back, very approachable and super easy to talk to. Unlike so many child actors who end up hating the thing that made them famous, Butch really seems to embrace his role in TV history, and really cares about his fans.

So now you know what happened to Butch Patrick. But what ever happened to Eddie Munster?
