103.9 The Fox Joins Metallica to Help Fight Hunger

After a great start last year, Metallica is gearing up for a second Day of Service to benefit the band’s All With My Hands charity foundation, and food banks all over the country, including ours right here in Flint. Want to be part of the campaign? Metallica is asking you to volunteer on Wednesday, May 22.

“In just one hour, a single volunteer can sort enough food for 355 people,” said Kara Ross, President and CEO of the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. “We wouldn’t be able to serve the more than 330,000 people in need in our 22 counties in Michigan without the contributions of our volunteers. We are excited that Metallica continues to advocate for volunteerism, and we are hoping to see many new and familiar faces volunteering at the Food Bank on May 22.”

On 5/22/2019, the air staff from 103.9 The Fox will be on hand at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan to help spread the word!

  • Roy Moore, 8:30-9:30 a.m.
  • Johnny Burke, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
  • Jeremy Fenech, 1-2p.m.
  • Amie Burke, 3-4p.m.
